Myspace Interview with Niki

I’d like to introduce a new feature here at Invisible Limb called Myspace Interviews.  In a nut shell, what we do is take one lucky friend from our Invisible Limb Myspace page and interview them.  They don’t have to be famous or in a band, just a friend.  A Myspace friend.  Isn’t that that what really matters?

Our first Myspace interview is with an attractive young lady named Niki.  She’s 25, blonde, and according to her page she is going to have children someday.  Sounds like a winner to us!

Richard:  Hello Niki. Who are you?

Niki: I just moved to LA from NYC and I miss it terribly.  (Editor’s Note:  I’m guessing she thought we asked ‘How are you?’)

How did we become Myspace friends? Have you noticed an increase in popularity since you added us?

I can’t remember…I think you added me a while back. It’s hard to track my popularity, but I would definitely attribute it to you.

Is this the first interview you’ve ever done with an unsuccesful and lazy music blog?

Incredibly, no.

How have Myspace and/or Invisible Limb changed your life?

I now view my life as a series of pictures that can be posted on Myspace.

Do you go to bars? If so, what is it like? I have never been.

I don’t believe you.

Is “runs a music blog” on the list of things you look for in a man?

Top of the check list, my friend.

What is your favorite song on the radio right now?

I heard the Boss’s ‘Thunder Road’ on the way to work this morning.  You gotta love K-Earth 101.

If you could have dinner with any staff member of Invisible Limb, who would it be, and why?

You, of course. You’re the only one I’ve spoken to.

You have Baby Dayliner listed in your music section on Myspace. Did you know we are obsessed with him?

He is the best! Baby D is a smooth motherfucker.

Please explain your love of shark attacks.

It’s more of a fear. Most horrifying way to die I can think of, being eaten alive by a monster in a sea of black water. I can barely go in the ocean, but every time shark week comes on I watch every second of it.

What else do you have to say for yourself? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

I am seeing Asobi Seksu and Darker my Love tomorrow at the Echo…come out, it’s gonna be a great show!!
