I didn’t know Islands were a supergroup of sorts, but apparently they are.  MtvU says they are made up of members of Wolf Parade, Arcade Fire, Prince’s New Power Generation, Super Mario Bros. and Woody Guthrie’s grandson.  That is a pretty insane list if true, which I have no reason to doubt it is.  MtvU knows what they are talking about. 

They even have the world premiere of Island’s ‘Don’t Call Me Whitney, Bobby’ video on their site.  It’s animated and directed by some guy named Wyld File.  I haven’t even watched it yet, but I bet it’s awesome.  You can peep it at the link below.
