Jim Noir - Key of C
CATEGORY: MP3

The beneficiary of a mysterious and eccentric label penned biography, Jim Noir is one of Barsuk Records’ most recent new signings and their first singer songwriter release since Rocky Votolato’s Makers in January. ‘Key of C’, a track culled from his up coming debut album Tower of Love, shows off his bright, multi-instrumental indie songwriting and strong Sgt. Pepper’s influence. The song’s crisp flutter of guitars, layered vocals, and subtle keyboard all blend into one large ray of pop sunshine; a delicious musical treat that can only be described as the work of an “enigma” who is “rarely seen in public”. I keed, I keed. Whether he is in fact an odd, reclusive songwriter or just a songwriter who is portrayed as odd and reclusive by his record label, Jim Noir has the skills necessary to pry your precious 15 dollars away from your leather skin wallet.
